10-in-1 Facial Machines: Explain the Functions Without Overwhelming Clients
By ROVANCHY Editorial · Published

Clients do not need a tour of every button. They need to understand what is planned, why each step was selected and what to expect. Start with the actual supplied accessories, then explain the agreed treatment in plain language.
Start with the configuration, not the “10-in-1” label
The VY-8055 source lists hydro dermabrasion, skin analysis, ultrasound and other functions. However, its function list and included-handpiece list are not identical, and one promotional image uses a different function count. Confirm the packing list and manual for the unit you buy. Do not promise an attachment simply because it appears in a generic promotional image.
Turn technical labels into useful questions
Use this discussion guide when preparing your own operator-approved explanation. It is not a treatment sequence.
- Skin-analysis camera
- Explain what images are being captured and how they will be used. Ask for permission before storing or sharing them. Do not describe a cosmetic imaging function as a medical diagnosis.
- Hydro and diamond dermabrasion
- Identify which attachment is actually planned. These are distinct labels in the supplier material; do not assume their preparation or aftercare is interchangeable.
- Facial and eye ultrasound
- Check the specific handpiece and permitted application area in the manual. An eye-labelled attachment does not justify using another attachment near the eyes.
- BIO, PDT and high frequency
- Keep the manufacturer's terminology in the equipment record. Have the trained practitioner explain the intended use, suitability and limitations of each selected function. Do not invent clinical benefits from the abbreviation.
- Spray and other accessories
- Confirm the approved fluid and accessory combination. A bottle or spray attachment is not evidence that any cosmetic solution is compatible.
Use a three-part explanation
- Name the step: point to the selected attachment and use its confirmed name.
- Explain the plan: describe its intended role using the manual and practitioner-approved wording.
- Check understanding: invite questions and explain how the client can ask to pause.
Example: “This is the attachment selected for the next step. Before we begin, I will explain its role and what you should report to me. You can ask us to pause at any time.” Add model-specific details only after they have been confirmed.
What if a client asks for all ten functions?
Explain that the menu describes equipment options, not a mandatory package. The practitioner should select appropriate steps after assessment. Avoid suggesting that more attachments, greater intensity or a longer appointment necessarily produces a better result.
A team handpiece reference card
- Attachment name and identifying photograph.
- Matching manual section and approved application area.
- Required operator training and suitability checks.
- Approved consumables and cleaning instructions.
- Client explanation reviewed by the responsible practitioner.
Keep this card beside the equipment folder so new staff do not have to infer function from appearance.
